My regal little muse is heading off to the rolling hills of California wine country. “Animalia” opens March 2 at the Healdsburg Center for the Arts and runs through April 14. A portion of the show’s sales will benefit the Humane Society of Sonoma County.
Spent some time in New York this month and got to meet Hamlet, the Algonquin Hotel cat. A former feral, he has adjusted to life in this luxury hotel very well, and is taking the literary feline legacy of his job seriously.
It’s a wrap, and Cat Art Show 3 was a hit. Patrons came out for the show, lots of fabulous art was sold, and money was raised for Kitten Rescue LA. All in all it was a blast at the Think Tank Gallery in downtown L.A.

In conjunction with the Chicago Blues Festival, Water Street Studios is hosting Art of the Blues, an exhibition of art that is either inspired by the Blues or created by Blues musicians themselves. “Cool Cat Blues” will be part of the group show.
It’s back, and I’m thrilled that my sexy little beast in his best “Backstage” pose is going to be a part of it. Running June 14-24 at the Think Tank Gallery in downtown L.A., Cat Art Show 3 will include over 140 artists and a portion of the proceeds will benefit cat-related charities.
“Lily Pond” and “Stillness” will be part of the Secret Gardens exhibit at the Nave Gallery running May 4th to June 17th in Somerville, Massachusetts. Both images were shot at Miami’s Fairchild Tropical Garden.
